In a Class Band, students learn to play a different wind instrument simultaneously from the beginning. Every lesson the students will play together in an orchestra and will be able to participate in the world of music. The Class Band consists of flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and Euphonium.
Students join a newly formed class band and attend lessons for one hour every week, with lessons during school term times only. Each lesson is designed to develop students understanding of playing the instrument, reading notation and developing understanding of music theory.
All students are also given unlimited access to MUSAGO free of charge. This is an online platform designed to develop students understanding of all aspects of music theory. With short animated videos, interactive quizzes and fun worksheets, this is the perfect accompaniment to your class band sessions.
