About the event
Dvoika's programme of music for violin and clarinet music will include classical duets and solos plus klezmer and folk music from Sweden, Greece, Bulgaria and more.
Having completed his studies at the Purcell School and RNCM, Dov moved to Northumberland to join Northern Sinfoni where he met Sarah. He has played with many of the country’s orchestras and toured worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician. His current specialisms are contemporary classical music, performing more than two hundred premieres, and the role of the clarinet in Eastern European folk music.
Sarah also studied at the RNCM and has been a member of the first violin section of the RNS for twenty-five years, although she has worked and toured with many other orchestras and ensembles during that time and is a member of the Frankland String Quartet.
They have been married for eighteen years and live in Allendale with their three children.
