About the event

Tyler Hay was born in 1994 in Kent and began learning the piano at the age of six.  He studied with Andrew Haigh at the Kent Music Academy for three years before gaining a place to study at the Purcell School in 2007 where he received a scholarship under the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme.  At the Purcell School he studied piano with Tessa Nicholson.

Tyler is currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music where he receives a full scholarship and is the Keyboard Department’s ABRSM scholar. He has also studied with the Head of Keyboard, Graham Scott and is now studying with the renowned British pianist Frank Wibaut.
